Hiya all,

I have never had targa bags for my TTops but I do still have the straps in the boot for fastening them down, the thing is, I've nerver known how to put them in there and strap them down properly, nor have I ever seen them strapped down by anyone else. So my question's are:-

1) do I need the bags fopr this, and,

2) can someone show me a piccy or procedure on how they are supposed to be in there

Ta peeps

Paul

No you don't need bags, but the are reccommended to prevent scrathing and damage to the targa's.

the straps are secured at one point and hooked ove at the other point.

I don't have apicture to show you though.

each strap has a securing bracket ie 3.

Put all brackets through the carpet and onto the pins in the boot, basically make a letter A shape but without the horizontal bit.

The adjuster will either be on the right or left and side of the A shape.

Remember to loop the strap back on itself so it can be loosend or tightend.

Hard to explain, will do a pic tomorrow.

IMHO waste of time anyway, as you slam it round a corner a bit quick the targas will slide out, unless the strap has be done up by guy the gorilla

I wedge mine under my rear strut bar. Those fookers aint going nowhere :)
