I hit a patch of grease going round a long sweeping bend on the way to work this morning, the car careered off into the opposite side of the road and into the hedge, at which point one of the wheels caught on a gulley and rolled the car.

Police, ambulance and fire service turned up. Was taken to A+E and was kept in while waiting for a specialist to take a look at my X-ray due to an anomally which turned out to simply be genetic (They think).

Am back home now but bloody sore...

bloody hell mate you a did a good job of that one! im glad youre ok, and im also glad it isnt the Z! you must have a heavy right foot as i remember you coming off the track at brunters the other year :D

Glad you're OK - any crash you can walk away from is a good one. You never know, it may have helped by them spotting that genetic thing earlier than you otherwise might have - hope it turns out OK.

Just think positive....thats another life lost.... seven to go ! Glad you're ok... the best bit is where it hurts most is where the seatbelts were ! Seriously though, glad you are ok

my mate done exactly the same thing in his saab, good to see you are ok, if it had been anything else it would have crushed the roof and you would have been fooked

Blimey....I glad you ok mate.... That's a proper MAN's crash that is..... If your going to do something wrong....DO IT RIGHT.

Yeah I was busy at work nearly fell off my chair when I got the text, so I rang him when he was at A&E

Glad you are ok; couldn't bear it if you'd be badly injured

See you at the weekend honey xxx

It used to be a Saab! Looks like it's stood up quite well considering it's been on it's roof! to Saabs strength! :duffer:

:shock:looks a bad crash. Saabs are one of the best cars to have a crash in if there is such a thing. I take it you walk away with no personal damage?

Thanks for all the replies guys/gals, this is one of the reasons why I love this club, it's such a friendly atmosphere around here.

My back isn't too bad at the moment, I'm just trying to prepare myself for the morning.

I never drove that car with a heavy foot, and was just cruising along, I usually drive along that road up to 14 times a week and have never had so much as a hairy moment along there.

One of my mates ended up taking half a day off work and came over, we went to look at the car and it's bloody scary, the oil spill on the road came from the rocker cover which was completely shattered. That and seeing some of the other cars in the warehouse that were involved in similar accidents.

Ended up going out to the cinema to see Hancock which was actually the most comfortable my back's been all day.

but the question on all of the 300zx.co.uk members tounge's is "what was hancock like"

LOL, it was good but wasn't anything spectacular

tbh I would suggest waiting for it to come out on DVD or on sky...

Well while your resting your back you can upload some pics from our Le mans weekend:tongue: :)
