Thats right! It will all come back into line when DNS sorts itself out. Most people will be already in sync but some obviously are not. Their isnt alot you can do about it yourself because it depends on how often your ISP keeps their DNS caches. Some can be as long as 7 days.

Its all to do with cached information.

Ah yes, the control F5 worked :D thanks guys!!,

Will change the addy too !

Still not right

www2.300zx.co.uk is correct.

If your DNS is updated then http://www.300zx.co.uk will goto the new server, if its not you will go to the old server and be redirected to www2

I hope that makes sense

I've got similar problems, when I use ctrl+f5 it corrects the current screen but when I go to a new page the problem comes back!!!

That's strange, it's now working OK so everything seems hunkydorey!

run this locally

start - run

ipconfig /flushdns

your ISP shouldn't cache for any longer than 8 hours, 4 hours is pretty standard now and I've never heard of a 7 day cache.

the above command will flash any dns windows has cached, you should also clear out your browser cache, it is more likely to be related to a cached page than anything else :)

hi Pete

nameservers are not configured correctly

http://www.checkdns.net/quickcheck.aspx?domain=www.300zx.co.uk&detailed=1

NS list mismatch: registration authority reports that domain is hosted on the following servers: 'ns2.vecter.net; ns1.vecter.net', but DNS server ns1.vecter.net reports domain to be hosted on 'ns1.300zx.co.uk; ns1.vecter.net; ns2.300zx.co.uk'. Please make sure that you configure the same DNS servers in registrar database and on your DNS

this may cause problems like some people are seeing with propagation, it may also cause some ISPs not to fully resolve the A/cname records in your zone file correctly.
