Over the August Bank Holiday weekend, Launde Abbey are holding their Annual Open Days, and I have been asked by the Management Team there to organise a display of cars. Last year Bantam and his brother came and together with my car we had a small display. This year I would like to make it a better display.

 

Details are that the Open Days are open 11 - 5 each day over the bank holiday, we are expecting in excess of 1,000 people over the three day. There will also a craft fair, bouncy castles, and of course bar and refreshments.

 

The proceeds of the days are going towards the refurbishment of the Main House which is a listed building as the Abbey is a Charitable Trust and relies heavily on donations towards it's upkeep.

 

I can also arrange bed and breakfast for anyone wanting to stay over at very reasonable rates.

PS I have just been informed that there is a car boot sale on the Monday.

Sounds like a good day, should be able to make it down for one of the weekend days

You can count on me matey, i have to double check dates as its a friends wedding one weekend in august and i need to make sure it's not the same weekend but i'll be able to come for one fo the days at least

Hi for those who have agreed to attend the above, times are as follows: The Open Days are On Saturday, Sunday and Monday - 12 noon - 5pm on Saturday and Sunday and Monday 11.00 - 5.00 pm. Therefore could you ensure that you arrive at least an hour before the opening times, please make youself know at the car park entrance and you will directed where to go.
