right guys and gals we're going to be holding a big meet to end the season with a bang, lets make this a good turn out as we have people coming from scotland and as far as lancashire. this is pretty close to a lot of the northeast members as we have centralised it to suit everyones needs.

LOL! Mines with the garage at the moment having a boost leak fixed. Will be coming regardless, be it in the vectra, but should have the Zed back by weekend.

 

If the weather is nice, which is still looking good i would like to add, we need to find a location and take some decent photos. Especially want one we could put forward for next years calendar. :hyper:

Had a nightmare day.

 

Set of this morning looking forward to the meet at the Hartside Cafe.

 

First stop, Fuel.

 

When I went to drive away after filling up, PA the engine died.

 

Popped the bonnet looking for something obvious. :mac1: (Nothing doin)

 

Called the men in Orange, once he arrived (25 mins) he check a few things then ensured there was a spark (yes) then the fuel supply, DOOH.

 

Id only filled up to the Brim with Diesel.....:xxx:

 

The man in orange found a garage not too far away open on a Sunday willing to drain the tank. (to my amazement) :bow:

 

So he loaded one sick zed onto his flatbed.

4 hours and £180 later :eek:

 

Drained, mopped and dried out the tank, added 15 Ltr's of Tesco 99RON.

 

Fingers crossed, turned the key, after a little while, a lot of white smoke and a few cough's

 

SHE LIVES :dance:

 

All is fine now, but not the way I intended to spend the day :slap:
