The next meet at the Griffens Head will be on Wednesday July 2nd and if the last meet was anything to go by then this should be a great meet again. As I have said before there are all walks of cars that attend this venue from vintage, classic, custom, and modern. Food is at hand as well as the usual pint or 2 lol. Last time we had 7 300's turn up so it would be nice to see a few more this time if anyone can make it. For more infor click on the link below

Well guys im not sure what the weather is like were you all are but here it is pissing it down and doesn't look like changing so I might after put this one on hold, which will be a first as I have been going there for awhile now. Let just hope the weather is better at the weekend for the Thoresby meet on sunday. Again im really sorry to not be attending but with the rain it really is not worth turning up as all you can do is sit in the car or in the pub which is not the reason I go to these meets

Well having just spent an hour reassembling the zed i thought i'd better double check but not sure if it's on or off now lol

Had great night.I arrived at 4pm got home at 10pm.Beat the rain going and coming back = (Old & Wise) Had to just leather rain off car after scofffing 2 Real Beef Burgers to keep me strength up.The Tweekies arrived and also Edd.

Good turn out of cars in the end including a mint Deloreon.Glad I made the effort in the end.

We got there at 8pm went home about 10pm, didn't see a single zed and i'm now definately thinking we must have got the wrong pub, food was good though :rofl:

 

EDIT: Yep definately the wrong pub we ended up at the one on mapperly plains i think it's called down the road from lukes house where we've met a couple of times before bugger :D

back to Specsavers for you then Bantam! Only about 8 miles difference between the travellers Rest on Mapperley plains and the Grifins Head in Papplewick. Sometimes the pub sign can be a clue.

Well im glad to here there was a good turn out again Vinz, In the end we had more friends and family visiting to see the new born so there really was no way I could make this one. Sorry to hear you was at the wrong pub Nick :slap: but im sure you will find it next time mate. The Griffens Head as started a meeting now twice a month. They meet on the first wednesday of the month and the third wednesday of the month, they only started this last month so I do not know what kind of turn out there was at the last. Still lets look forward to sunday hey
