My car went in for an MOT today. It passed (phew), but on driving back I switched on the aircon and was promptly blasted with hot air. It was working fine on the way TO the test centre. The only strange thing I notice is that it looks like they disconnected the battery. Not sure why they would need to do this, but the temp on aircon was showing 10 degrees (default) and time was wrong.

Anyone got any ideas whether this might be the cause, or what else might be? In this weather I'm getting a serious case of Betty Swollocks.

Not yet, I suppose that really should be my first port of call... I just wondered if that can actually cause an issue, or if I was fishing.
