Blimey that brings back memories, I had one of them in 1991, with the 'pull up ariel'. I gave mine to one of my grandsons who I think used it as a hammer.

    my father had one, we are keeping it, just in case they become collectors items of the future. As I remember his tariff on UkCellnet cost 3 quid a minute or something like that!!

     

    Also as I remember the build quality was far superior to the modern day handsets, much more robust!
