Me & the Mrs. are looking to get away July 4th for 2 wks and can't decide where to go as we normally go to the Carribean and have done most of it and quite fancy something in Europe.

Just wondering if anyone on here knows of or has a holiday home/apartment/flat available (and NOT in this s**t hole of a country).......

seriously though, have just had a quick look and looks ok mate, thanks bud. If you've been there 12 times surely you should have your own place out there by now and we could have stayed ther FOC!

Look for somewhere in Croatia along the adriatic coast. I've not been myself but know of a few people (including my parents) who absolutely love it there. Scenery is beautiful, people very friendly and most importantly it is not yet over-priced.

 

Failing that any of the less well known Greek islands are also lovely. I try to avoid the likes of Crete, Rhodos, Corfu as they are too touristy for my liking. But be ware, it gets extremely hot during July/August (I should know - I lived in Athens for 5 years ...)
