Again this year the Gardens are Open at my house for Charity. This is not a Zed meet as such, just a charity event for Both the National Gardens Scheme and also the Haffner orchestra, which is a local Orchestra based in Lancaster.

 

All events have plenty of parking but this may be in a fairly flat field – so judgement call on cars getting in and out. Tractors on standby if needed!

 

The garden is not flat, so if you are bringing people with walking difficulties they may not be able to get around the entire garden.

 

We should hopefully have the the railway running this year again.

 

At very least the NGS ones will have teas coffees and cakes but the Haffner Orchestra event should have some as well!

  • Secluded 2-acre garden with many unusual trees and shrubs,
  • sweeping lawns with beautiful herbaceous borders leading to
  • large natural wildlife pond,
  • gravel garden,
  • pergolas with an abundance of roses and climbers,
  • rockery,
  • folly,
  • woodland garden with natural stream, under development.
  • Garden railway train rides for adults and children

wont have my zed back :((((( might have to come down in the C4 .....kids will love the train rides Chris ..........ill keep the little bleeders on a lead or they will wreck the place :)

The train is brilliant, everyone loves it. Its a nice way of seeing the gardens as well!
