Good pics, I'll need to post my pics as well, though probably much the same as yours.

The pics dont show up how sunny it was, looks a bit overcast.

A cutionary tale for anyone running a turbo timer. I fitted another switch yesterday and had a chance to have a good look at the turbo timer harness (supplied with the timer - fits between existing plug and the ignition switch). The insolation on the main power feed was almost completely fried - I reckon if the switch hadn't gone the the whole thing could have gone up at some point. The wiring is nowhere close to being up to the job - the original wiring looks to be capable of 50 amps (the fuse is 30 amp) but the wire used in the harness looks to be 10 - 20 amp.

So, if you're running a timer I'd suggest you check the harness and consider soldering the timer directly to the existing wiring.

Other than that - excelent day out!

Colin

PS - I watched the Bourne Ultimatum again last night - he hotwired an Audi in under 2 seconds. Does that mean a 300 is CIA proof?

Looks like you had a great day for it - sorry I couldn't make it.

Ossian, nice to see your car finally make an appearance - was beginning to think there was more chance of you lot seeing a wild haggis

Glad you enjoyed the day.....if your thinking about buying a 300, make sure you get it properly checked over, they can be expensive to fix.....
