In 1994 at the Top Speed Battle held at Yatabe Speedway, the Pentroof built Z (with TD05 turbos) came in first at 342km/h (212mph), among many Zs and other cars fielded by Blitz, Jun Auto, HKS, Top Secret among others. A Pentroof built Z also came in first at the Tsukuba Circuit in March 2002.
