Firstly. I have taken the rear spoiler off (standard) and have been confronted with 2 sodding great recesses on either side of the lock mechanism as well as a hole througth into the boot at the centre and a gap in the rubber seal on boot lid, again in the centre where the lock is.

1. Is there a pannel i can buy to fix this or do i have to make one

2. if so where can i get one from.

Secondly. I had an off the other day with NO impact damage to anything near the engine bay however the car has started to missfire very badly under any moderate power. Its an auto TT and when you stamp on the 'go' peddal it drops a gear, upps the revvs to about 6.5k rpm (just before the red line) then makes a hell of a racket (lots of bangs) judders the car about and dosn't speed up at all. Any thoughts?

cheers, Jamie

also can a 94 plate 300 be plugged in to a diagnostic machine?

Bit of a long one but did you scrape the underneath? If so, no idea where the fuel lines run but maybe they got squashed a bit?
