Wow300 is the one to ask, he has had a few cars on gas. In plymouth it cost £950-£1200 to have it converted.

Its roughly about a grand Vini, depends on the size of tank you want, or they can fit. in todays rising fuel times, its deffinatley worth doing IMO, so much cheaper than petrol, its roughly about £20 to fill a 40 litre tank up, and there is NO difference in performance.

Try this Vini>> http://www.greenfuel.org.uk/

about 2k to convert bud.. benefits are fuel economy my SX does 15-18 mpg on petrol and when i switch over to LPG i get between 40-50 miles to the 5ers worth wich is about the same price as a gallon of petrol these days.. go for a system that has its own ecu this way it can change the timing to suit the lpg giving you MORE power than u would have if running on petrol .. i use the BRC FAST LPG system .. plenty of places about that fit it all over the country and so many garages that now stock LPG too

Thanks chaps.

Good link KIM. going by that I will save about £500 per year. with an average of 5000 miles a year. but with the way fuel is rising at the moment that could well double? AND surely it would add to the value of the car should i decide to flog it?

again many thanks
