Hi folks

The iTrader Feedback system is now online and available to subscribed members only. A subscribed member can leave feedback for a registered member and only other subscribed members will be able to see that feedback. :)

To use it click on the picture that looks like a post-it note ( submit_on.gif ) on the left at the bottom and then click Submit Feedback for . This will allow you to leave feedback for the member which can include your comments and the url to the sale if you wish. You can also view your own feedback in your User CP or of course click on your own post-it note. You are able to report bad feedback which will then come to the moderators for review.

In short, use it like you would on ebay and everything will be fine :D

Thats impossible to do because there is no way of linking a sale to the feedback. So its down to everyone using it responsibly or we'll start banning abusers. Its there to protect subscribed members so abusing it just spoils it for yourselves.

yeah thats the thing - it needs to be used properly as potential feedback-whores could easily ruin it, when its finally been installed after many many months/years of requesting it. ;) maybe its worth putting a sticky up from the mods just to forewarn people to use it properly. anyway thats enough from me! :D

Why would anyone leave feedback for a registered user though because they cant sell anything?

So Can You Backdate Feedback For Good Service?

I think we should do this as a "starting from now" thing really. Would you want Bad Feedback back dating?

no bad feedback but if people have recently provided a good service, it should be recognised

If you are going to use it like "Ebay feedback" then it should be restricted to Sales/purchases of items only.

It will actually devalue the scheme if you extend it to services as nobody will then know what the feedback is related to, since it cant be linked to a specific transaction. Simple is nearly always best. IMO of course.

No lets leave it to sales only otherwise people will be giving feedback for everything and you wont be able to see the wood from the trees.
