Seats

The passenger seat electrics on my Zed don't appear to work at all, meaning no movement of the seat at all.

Is there any way of fault finding? loose connections, buggered motors etc? Any common problems that might be the cause?

also, I've got bad wear patches on the side bolsters of the drivers and passengers seats - anyone know if individual leather panels can be replaced?

Ta!!

Andy,

I looked into this a few months ago. Single panels can be replaced, however the cover has to come off of the seat to have it done which is the reason for most of the cost. One guy in London was quoting 80 a panel and a company called leather doctor outside london was quoting around 200 a panel.

my passengers seat doesn't even have electrics, its all manual. Is this a uk think? (mines a jap)

Mines a Jap too, has the electric controls down the side, but they don't work?

Bruce - cheers, I'll give them a ring and see - may be cheaper to get a full retrim of the two seats.

I had the driver's lumber support panel replaced last week. The guy matched the gray leather perfectly. He had the seat for 2 days, cost £45.

In Ipswich though. I got the number from yellowpages.

Thanks!!
