He even lied in court and made out the father had the baby on his lap. I really hope this twat dies a horrible death. She even looks like my daughter in the pictures before the crash. He would simply not be living now if she were mine.

Just in case anyone wants to voice their opinion! Oh - and the family business is worth £130,000,000 - I wonder how he got off so lightly?

makes me feel sick how someone could get away with such a lenient sentence!! that poor child has to suffer for the rest of her life and that arsehole would have forgotten about it in a couple of years.. no ****ing justice!

Very sad indeed but no different to any other of today's rich kids! THey all think they 'own the place' and can do anything they want without consequences! And that doesn't just go for millionaires! A walk into the City and you come across it every other step!

It doesn't mention whether he was ordered to pay care fees for the baby for...would have been expecting some order to pay for life of the baby....only right...not like he can't afford it!

I totally agree mate. My Mum's partner is 70 and is pretty well off, but also really nice bloke who'll help you whenever he can. Its the newer generation of millionaires - they are a really cold and sad bunch of people.

To be caught again 2 months later speeding proves he does not care what he has done and he should be shot, bullet through the head and one more piece of scum gone!

Missed opportunity!!

fair cop, especially if he was arrogant enough to put other lives at risk again, he obviously has no remorse and therefore would be better off a way from the public for the rest of his life.

Im sure not every young successful millionaire is sad and cold though, you can not tar everyone with the same brush, it takes one scum bag like this arse hole to label a whole group of society.

Just remember you all drive like Miss Daisy all the time eh ;)

I wouldn't do 70 in a 30mph zone on the wrong side of the road, half kill someone's daughter and then go tonning it down the M6 afterwards;)

You are right, they aren't all like that - probably just a bigger proportion of em. I was angry when I made the original post lol!

Maybe not but everyone makes mistakes they regret ;) I'm sure at SOME point in your driving career you've pulled a stupid stunt then thought afterwards "What the hell was I doing?!?!?!" I know I have!!!

I have, but it angers me that he sped again, showed no remorse, didn't apologise to the family and lied in court saying "The father had the little girl in his lap" when she was, in fact, ripped from her seat by the impact:(.

At the end of the day it is a lesson to be learnt, you drive a like twat you risk another persons life. It takes something like this to bring it home. It does not matter what car your in, weather you drive a lambo or a metro, every time you turn that ignition you are in charge of a lethal weapon, its unfortunate that it takes being in court over a little girl being injured to bring it home.

Imho what makes it worse is the judge saying if the poor girl had died he would have got a tougher sentence, does it take death to make that happen?

Completely agree bud!!! I'm just a bit shocked by the 'holier than thou' posts on this thread ;) How many times do we see "killed a subaru"/"raced a ferrari" etc threads on here. Once in a while, the above is the consequence and maybe this thread should be more a warning to how your driving can affect others lives, rather than turning someone who did it into the worlds biggest criminal? Yes he did wrong BUT can anyone on here honestly say they haven't done the same at some point since passing their test?

Too right (on all of the above).

From a strictly financial POV for the parents, death would have been better! As they now have a human being to look after for the whole of their remaining lives and then some! I feel terrible for them all!

I think part of the problem is that speed and driving like a cnut are both two different issues. For example, I like to put my foot down on the right roads, but that's about where it stops. Doing 70 in a 30 - jesus - that's just appalling! I might drift into the odd 40mph on occasion, and overtaking on a 30 - well that's usually strictly limited to overtaking the old granny doing 25 - but only if the visibility is there.

We all like to push the boundaries a little, and other voices on here are right, even that comes back to bite us occasionally, but what mr child-maimer did was grossly pole-vault over the boundary and land himself in a world of shit.

I hope he gets a good pasting in the clink! Daily!

I suppose we have to remember his age. We have all done daft things, most of which would most likely have been when we were around his age. I'm sure when he gets older he'll realise his mistakes, not just the driving, but his attitude in court afterwards. If not, then there's something fooking lacking upstairs.
