chips are mapped to whats fitted on the individual car IE: decats, injectors, induction kit, ect. so i doubt it would be cost effective to fit it. it would be safe to fit the upgrade bits you want on yours, then get someone to map a chip for it.

would it be ok if it was mapped for a standard engine?

Can of worms mate to be honest. It probaly wont make 400bhp anyway as the stock injectors wont flow that much.but some have managed to achieve this.

would it be ok if it was mapped for a standard engine?

if it was it wouldn't be a 400bhp chip!

All you need to know is where your mate got it and what mods it's meant for.

But to call a chip a 400bhp chip, erm :nono:

No such thing as a 400bhp chip.

I'd get a JWT or such which gives you known results on an otherwise standard engine.
