Cobra 6422 alarm Issue

Hi folks, anyone have any experience with the cobra 6422 immobilizer / alarm, the immobilizer / arlarm works fine but the alarm fob does not get picked up by the car itself or central locking, the battery's are new on the fob and the little immobilizer stick works, just cant seem to get the fobs working. Is there an internal battery that could need replacing ? Any help would be great
