i'm thinking of importing my own skyline does any one know of any auction sites. i have been told by an importer they can get me a stock R33 GTR for £9000 and i was wondering how much i could get it myself for

A few year's ago it was worth importing yourself, now with the eamount of GTR's readily available in the UK I would much rather buy in the UK... you can actually test the car and see it for yourself. Auction Grading CAN be very misleading, ie you see a Grade 4 car and think yes that car will be perfect but that is really not the case. I have imported quite a few Grade 4 cars with hidden problems such as crunching gears/whining gearboxes etc, etc, this is something that cannot be tested at auction... also the prices are very low fro Skyline R33 GTR's in the UK at the moment, so you will actually save money buying from the UK!!

thanks for the imput guys i didn't know how much i would save found one site and said you could save upto £1000, which i didn't think was that much of a saving for the hasle and risk i would be taking
