We've also been on ReverbNation (

) for the past couple of weeks and we're now at position 920 out of 10467 world-wide acts on their "Alternative Chart" (and not just unsigned acts, there's also the likes of Bullet For My Valentine, Gnarls Barkley, Snow Patrol, The Fratellis etc etc on there) and we need help getting as far up the chart as we can.

 

If you like the tunes play as many as you can on the player on the MySpace page. It's linked to ReverbNation and every play is registered and scores points towards the chart position.

 

The same goes for the Fan Reach widget that's just above the Friend Space as you scroll down. Leave your email address (only made available to me and not third party spamming!) and don't forget to tick the "Street Team" box.

 

These last two not only gain us big points but will also entitle you, as official "fans" to forthcoming merchandise offers, secret gigs and put you on the list for a chance to own one of the very limited edition handmade copies of the new album (each one is signed, dated and numbered). So you're not doing something for nothing ;)

 

If you can stop by and show your support it would be much appreciated...we're gunning for the number one slot! :D ;)

Update: Now at No.366 in the RN charts. Our climb has slowed a bit (though still rising every day) so if anyone else who likes the tunes hasn't joined, it would be great if you did as every tune played and fan signed up counts! :)

Just played it and LOVE IT !

For those who have been following it's progress and shown their support, and also for those that haven't come across this thread before, the album is.....FINISHED!

 

 

I've mastered it myself in the studio but it's going off to be done professionally at a dedicated mastering studio once I find one I like. Then it's off to the presses for a limited edition run.

 

It won't be ready in time for our first big gig at the Academy on the 24th (tickets available here: http://thisburningage.bigcartel.com/ )but it won't be far off now...

It's going suprisingly well so far...nearly 2 months down the line and we haven't killed each other...yet. :D And the "thank you" cards are sitting, staring accusingly at me, on the table across fthe way...you and Fiona will be getting one some time this millenia I promise chap! :D ;)
