Senna,I would do but the jap clock keeps goin ape(the guy told me about it)sticks on 0 then later goes to 180,if it stays on 0 to long safety mode kicks in,but what the hell, ill get a uk clock, body is totally unmarked and engine sweet, new auto box+cooler, not de- limited, very good leather, and service history,so hopefully thats 90% of the battle won

Clocks going ape will be caused by the speedo convertor wink.gif These things are a total POS... Removing the convertor and sticking UK clocks in should cure it all though wink.gif

Nice car BTW wink.gif

There is more than one type of kmh/mph convertor and I read somewhere recently that one model is particuarly unreliable, so much so that I think The Z Centre stopped selling them. If you get a good one then I don't see why they shouldn't work perfectly, I had mine on for almost 4 years and it never even hiccuped once. However, there are other more subtle benefits to having UK spec clocks, so that, IMHO, the way to go.

Incidentally, fitting Series I UK clocks in a Series II Jap car is not a five minute job - there is a bit of jiggery pokery involved because Nissan saw fit to change a few of the plastic mouldings in the clocks themselves.
