At last some good news for you. Dont rush! Give my best wishes to your dad and brother and I really hope the farm is safe and the rest of your lives are now spent without all this crap.

All the best dear. :)

Cheers... :hyper:

As far as the farm goes.... hopefully we can still keep it if not we'll find something else to do :)

It's a pity Zimbabwe didn't have large oil reserves. If it did, the US and UK war machine would have been in there to sort him out years ago. He is one evil man who should have been overthrown twenty years ago.

IMO he's done far worse humanitarian things than Saddam Hussain ever did. Then again, Suddan was sitting in multi billion barrels of crude. That's what I hate about US and UK hypocricy.

Good luck Athene!!

I always thought you were greek Athene Lol:tongue:

oh good heavens

You know what they say in Greece.... MALAKA!

Athene's History in a nutshell

Lesson #1

*Athene's mommy and daddy left Greece and went to Zimbabwe when Greece was going tits up (many moons ago)

Her mommy is from Lemnos (an island) and her daddy is from Patra.

*mommy and daddy did their deed and baby atheneypoos was born :hyper: (in zimbabwe)

* 2000 goverment took one farm from us

* 2004 Athenepoos jumped on a plane for the UK (shame poor sods in the UK)

* 2007 goverment threatened to take our last farm

* 2008 goverment lost the elections :xxx::rofl::tongue:

Errr with the name and surname and way I have been bought up and being forced to do my Greek O'Levels as well as being fluent in the lingo as daddypoo's struggles with english, I'd say Im a greek zimbabwean ... :D

does that make sense :)

The opposition says Mr Mugabe has lost the presidential election

Zanu PF - (his party) has lost according to the bbc

President Robert Mugabe's party has lost its majority in parliament, official results show.

Mr Mugabe's Zanu-PF party has so far taken 94 of the 210 seats, while opposition parties have won 105, the Zimbabwe Election Commission says.

Mr Mugabe, 84, has not been seen in public since the election but Mr Matonga has denied rumours the president had left the country.

Hi 300zx GIRL,

My name is OZ and im from UGANDA EAST AFRICA, I owe my life and everything i own to the british government and public, but i cant see things being the same as they were in zimbabwe yesrs ago. I went back to uganda last year to claim my dads millions worth of propertys for which i stayed 14 months in kampala, which cost me thousands of £££,

because im a bussiness man in london and had to take time off. iN The end i walked away with nothing apart from debts.

I do love this place, I've got used to it, yes even the shitty weather and believe it or not I'm lossing my Zim accent :wack: Im sounding 'British' .... but I'll always have that urge to go back to my 'life', the place I was born, raised, where all my memories are :(

Quote from the BBC...

"We managed to remove all the invaders from the occupied farms after realising that they were now committing crimes such as looting farm equipment, produce and threatening to kill the farm owners," police assistant commissioner Mhekia Tanyanyiwa said.

"As of now the situation is under control and the affected white farmers are safe," he said.

A BBC contributor in Masvingo says police on Tuesday fought running battles with farm invaders who had looted farm equipment and produce.

Trevor Gifford, president of the Commercial Farmers Union, said farmers had not been beaten.

"It's been more verbal abuse, racial rhetoric and being pushed around and having fingers poked in ones' face and it's been very, very intimidating," he told the BBC.

Funny they say that.... just got off the phone to my dad and clock is ticking.... my family have about 3 hours to get off the farm or else....

Guess you lot are stuck with me
