I Know this is a really silly request, but I have an MOT on Tuesday and the tyres I have ordered still haven't been despatched.:cry: Even though they should have been delivered yesterday. And can't get hold of anyone at there office, only the answerphone.:rant:

 

SO I really need to borrow two road legal wheels of a VERY kind z owner that lives near-by (if there are any?):D

i'd love to help but your too far for me, i'm sure someone will help though.

Same thing happened to me on a previous car!I showed them the invoice and that 2 new tryes where on route and he just told me to swing by when they arrived and show him then he would pass me there and then! Which he did so wouldnt threat it to much!

 

Plus if you fail you get like 1week to fix everything and re-mot is free :) Im sorry i Cant help but maybe showing invoice they may let you off :)

you dont get a week anymore, unless you know the tester, if your car is taken away from the test station for more than 24 hours you have to pay again, unless they are doing the repair work for you, i know this cos i work in a garage that does MOT's. :tongue::rofl:

I do know the tester, so that's ok.

Just spoke to my folks about it, the tester is a friend of their's and he'll probably let it go as I'll be taking it back there to be done. If not I'll just have to buy another couple there.

When I had my MOT a couple of weeks ago I took the car away for the repairs. Was told I had 10 working days. Did get charged half price however because they had to put it back on the ramp to check the lights. This meant they could charge me again apparently. Just another way the poor old driver gets stung.
