think it may need just a touch of filler though. oops

could have happened to any one of us as a new rwd owner.

Its soooooo easy to underestimate the difference between the two.

Its just a blessing all were ok.

a lot of the problem nowadays is the younger end of drivers have passed their tests in fwd cars, and probably owned a few over the years. you cant get straight into a rwd car and drive it the same, otherwise you end up with something like the pics above. :D

And superbikes are another story sends you into a back flip or a side flip over the bike.

agreed Paul.

when i first bought the zed i was warned, but did not appreciate the difference.

I pulled out of junction with a little too much gas and the car ricoshe'd infront towards an artic, i was very lucky, it could have been A LOT WORSE!!!

If i had have been applying that much throttle in my FWD car it would have been safe as houses.

Im glad it happened, it was a warning as to what could happen!!

first rwd I had was an omega 2.0 16v and nearly lost it a few days after I got it on a wet roundabout wasn't going mad just wrong roundabout in wrong conditions. From that day I have a lot more respect for rwd's

your lucky it happened!!

some people learn when its too late!!

Its such a different style of driving, people think a cars a car, its not, i sometimes think it would be a good idea with rwd cars to have some kind of driving manual, i know that sounds sad but just an idea to try and give people an idea of just how dangerous losing control can be to yourselves and those around you. sad i know but thats my opinion!

agreed,, if i had of jumped into a rwd straight after my test id be lucky to be alive.

but i dont think there has been one journey in the zed where i havent let the back out,, just cant help it :D

rwd's tend to be long heavy cars too so once they go if you're at speed dirty pants is getting off lightly

My first RWD car was my second car, a BMW 323i luckily it had traction control which helped alot, however I learnt the hard way when in a fit of stupidity i turned the TC off drove into asda car park and thought i could drift around the bottom corner, on a particularly cold and greasy night... took a real nasty chunk out of alloy and an equally large chip out of the curb! I hit it with such a bang that i thought i ripped the axel off!

Tit that i am...!
