I would just like to say thanks to Pete R for putting himself into the firing line like he has.

I'm not trying to take sides or anything like that in any of the ongoing debates that may be going on, i just want to show my respect for what he has done.

To come on here and openly ask for criticism, as well as feedback, on his company, service and staff was a brave thing to do.

Personally, i hope he becomes a more regular poster, and would welcome the occasional Tech Tip ;)

i have to agree, all i would like is an explanation for the service i recieved, and a reason as to why i was lied to.

but at least you are making the effort.

Respect also Pete R.

You deserve it. Please keep in touch with forum.

I have not yet needed the services of a 300ZX man, but no doubt soon i will, after all my car is 11yrs old now.

and having read almost all posts on the subject of good and bad, I personaly feel that I would give SE a try, as Pete seems to have Balls and Brains.

I have to agree with you Craig. I think this was a good move by Pete R.

I don't think I have ever seen a senior person from a company defend themselves in such detail.

After having some doubts about SE I would now consider them given Pete's positive attitude.

Keep up the good work Pete!

Pete's cool. He talks technical stuff so that thickos like me understand it. Only people who know their subject well can do that.

Everybody makes cock ups in running their business, very few in my experience have the balls to admit when they're wrong and do it publicly AND do something about it. I have used SE for a number of years and have always had good experiences, things have gone slightly wrong on occasion but Pete has always corrected them, including meeting me at the airport on a Sunday night to collect my car when somebody failed to phone me from his company. As a side note it is a strange but true fact that customers that have a problem with a service, that the service provider subsequently corrects, have a higher incidence of repeat business with them than a customer has has had only good experiences. I think that Pete understands this and is genuinely interested in giving good service. He won't always be the cheapest but I don't ever remember him saying he was.
