Hook Up A PS2 To A PC Monitor

Is it possible to use a PS2 on a normal PC monitor. There are no scart sockets on the monitor the problem I have is that there aint enough room in my sons room for the tv and pc. Or what is the best way if possible of connecting the ps2 through the pc.
