i'm thinkin about buying the wife an astra coupe 2.2, the only problem is i've found 1 for £1600 but it has a bottom end knock which gets louder when warm or revved up, does this sound like its worth it cos the others i've seen for the same year and milage are goin for 4-5 grand.

what do you all think.

bottom end shells are away, quite costly

well allan, i have a budget of £2000 so in other words its not do-able.

pmsl, not sure what the cost, nt sure if my diagnosis isright, but if i know vauxhalls (WHICH I DONT) it sounds like bottom end shells, have a word with funkisi, he knows all about them
