Guys,

Was reading the past posts and read about the pager alarm Bob was supplying some time back.

Was wondering how it all went with those of you who purchased it. Seems really cheap 35pds or something wasnt it??

Will Bob be at the meeting on the 1st April I wouldnt mind getting one. If everyone seemed happy with theirs I may give it a go.

I've got a Toad alarm, was it easy to fit on yours or did Bob have to do it?

I take it everything is still on for the 1st April.

Thanks.

I don't think Bob has any more left as I had to get my one from Jez who bought two.

It's still in the box waiting for a nice day to fit it.

Whats happened to my post?? Is no one going to talk to me about their alarm pagers???;-(

Craig,

Thanks for the info. As were on the topic, is it possible to have the info (once its set in stone) as to where were all meeting up on the News or Events section of the site. People will get lost checking the past posts and all that.. and some people may have missed the posting.

Cheerz,

PS - Look forward to meeting you all.

George.

  • 3 weeks later...

If you still want a pager there are other makes around that I've seen on the internet, maybe a little more money but they claim a greater distance... whether it's true or not I don't know.

Jez.

Still got plenty left if anyone wants one.

There are pagers available with a greater range but if you are 2 miles away and it goes off what can you do?

These are designed for when you are in the pub or something and a little shit has a go at your motor, enough range to do something about it (if you don`t have an alarm he won`t even know you`re on your way to sort him)!

Hi, Bob.

Insurance insisted on a Sigma cat 1 was fitted, is it compatable with this or is it an independant unit! If you say it'll work I suppose I'd better have one. (sorry but how much were they again)

Cheers harve.

Harve, i don`t deal with Sigma but i`ll get a wiring diagram and let you know. If it won`t work from the alarm it can be wired up independent to go off when the door/tailgate are opened.

They are £35.00 with postage.

Bob,

The alarm is amazing ~ even I cant get in the car sometimes :-\ but it was fitted by a insurance (approved muppet)!!!! I'm sure you know what I mean.

Do what you can to find out if its compatable, if not tell me on the 1st how to fit, I think you should bring some with you. Incase your sales technique is in full flow, i'm all ears. - What other goodies do you have ongoing at presant?

harve.

Bob, I also have a sigma cat 1 alarm & would be interested in the pager if it works?

Jan..
