Went to hospital today to have 4 wisdom teeth removed under a general. Was woken up from the op at around 5:45 but my lip, chin and tongue are still completely numb.

 

Anyone know how long it takes to wear off??

could be days depending on quantities, ive known it last up to a week!!!

yes some people never fully recover, they walk round with massive rubber like lips for the rest of their lives, its known as "Goat Lip Syndrome"

Its where the nerve gets damaged as it runs close to the roots of wisdom teeth. It is called Paresthesia.

shame it doesent stay in your hand lads, then it would feel like someone else when u have a tom hank lol

I had mine done wasnt numb at all when woke up, thats the risk of going under...hope it goes away soon :confused:

Just had an update from my private consultant, he thinks its MRSA :'(

big pay out that!! BIG pay out!!!! its all the Nitrous oxide messes with your system you see!
