How to become a forum Super Moderator and Committee Member

1. Applications to the above posts are welcome from any subscribed member, providing they have at least twelve months membership to the club.

2. Applications are to be made via email or PM (Private Message) to either MAC 1 (Club Chairman) or KIM (Club Secretary), detailing your reasons for applying for the position and any other relevant information that may be applicable (eg. ideas and suggestions for the development of the club).

3. Every forum member’s application will be considered and discussed in the Committee forum and will be responded to within 14 days.

4. If a member has been successful in their application and there are positions vacant, they will be offered a Super Moderator post. If no positions are available they will be offered the next available position.

5. No member will be offered a Committee posting without prior experience as a Super Moderator.

6. The Super Moderator position will be on an initial three month trial period. This will give the member sufficient time to decide if the role is for them and also a chance for the Committee to see if the successful member is suitable. If after the three months the Super Moderator is happy to continue and the Committee are satisfied he/she is suitable, they will be offered a permanent post.

7. A Super Moderator may apply to the Chairman/Secretary to become a Committee member. If the Committee agree the Moderator is suitable, they will be offered a post as an assistant Committee member. This will involve supporting an existing Committee member with his/her duties.

8. The time a Super Moderator will spend as an assistant Committee member will depend on vacant Committee positions.

9. When a Committee position becomes available, any assistant Committee members will be considered for the position.
