Is centrefuse more user friendly? I'm finding some of the setting up of road runner going way over my head lol. I've managed to set it up to play music and movies but i wanted to add the gps software and also the clock/speedo/compass but when it comes to this i'm lost. :headvswal

Centrafuse is much more user friendly. Its the first commerically available product, so you do you have to pay for it but it so much better to use, and includes user manuals too.

How well does the OBD-II software work with the Z?

Is this "Requires ELM-based OBD-II adapter" the same as the consult/datascan cable?

legrath, do you know how good the maps are for gps ?. it doesnt tell you a great deal about it.

It does'nt, as the Z32 (pre 95) uses OBD1. But you can integrate Datascan or Conzult into it and run it directly from Centrafuse.

It uses Destinator Maps I believe. There are only 2 original Digital Map providors within the UK so all the satnavs share pretty much the same maps, just with different colours.

i can confirm that centrafuse does work with the datascan setup :D

my centrafuse uses destinator... im not very impressed with it tbh and am trying to find another satnav proggy that can be integrated into centrafuse... my main quibble with it is that it doesnt have full postcode navigation, though other than that, as dave says, the maps are prolly all much of a muchness :)
