dunno but the great oak is real, i know ive seen it!!!

Robin Hood is a figure in archetypal English folk tales, whose story originates from medieval times.

Key word - tale

the oak is real there are myths and stuff but none of her family are sure that she's asked before. There are many tributes and statues not sure if there is any real evidence

bit like jesus I suppose .........waits for the flaming to begin

yes he was real but in medieval times the film just shows how he/they lived
The character as we know him today is more the product of centuries of storytellers contributing new and different ideas.

I couldn't put it better myself!

If you mean the character you know from films & TV, then no.

If you're asking if there was a robber called something like 'Robin Hood' that was the seed of a story that became a legend, then yes, probably.

right some one elses turn to ask

We all know that the watershed starts at 9pm

When does it end?

Darrell

and why's it called a watershed.......... sheds don't hold water

there was a outlaw noted who's name was similar who went on lionhearts 2nd crusade. as to his heroic deeds, he probably robbed the rich and gave to himself.

Of course Robin Hood was real. There is no doubt about it.

There is even a shop in Edwinstowe (the nearest village to the Major Oak) called 'The Robin Hood Wink'

If there is such a thing as the all seeing eye, what is it looking at and what has it seen.? And where does all the out of date supermarket food go too? i know people say it goes to the pigs!! but then how many pigs are there? not a good thread to do the stella's with mate.

good question about watershed. why is it called that?

supermarket food generally gets dumped into a big compactor along with other non-recyclable rubbish (like card and plastic) and carted off somewhere. wouldnt be fit for eating. :hurl: i should know i was a manager in one of them supermarket things for a few years!

why do we have pube's a question that keeps me awake at night
