Ive had some twat park down my club last few weeks, left him a note to tell him its private parking and not to do it anymore, totally ignored. see the guy today so asked him politely and guy went mental, get this though. He was adamant that because I lease the land he could park where he wanted. Reckoned he'd checked the land registry and it all belonged to the farmer, he's wrong but I don't own the car park, just lease it.

anyway, that's not the best bit, I said "so you know the law do you, does that mean I can park up your drive even if your paying rent, no your talking BS you retard now fook off or ill remove your car.

Comes back to me, unzips his jacket and has a blue jumper on, claims he's a copper. Probably a security guard, but is there anyone on here who can trace the number plate, if he is a copper I have serious doubts about his mental state and don't feel he should be let loose on the public. If teh chain fence wasnt in the way I think it might of got violent rapidly

This is the funny thing though, My brother parks there. A he is my brother and has permission, funny that, and B he is a member of the club. Bloke queried this and when I told him, oh so hes allowed to park there but not me. Err yes hes got permission and hes a member.

Then comes out with, so you can park if your a member but you wouldn't give me membership, err. nope your a nutjob. at this point he goes even more mental implying I threatened him.

Anyway I told him if he feels he is in the right he can test it out as next time i see the van Ill have it towed or clamped and he can foot teh bill and take me to court, im sure my lawyer and his lawyer will come to a settlement on how much he owes me.

I think this all comes down to whether the park is displaying any notices indicating that it is 'Private Property', and to be used by 'Members Only'. Without that I think ypou may be on sticky ground.

not sure about sticky ground^^^^ but you wanna (sticky 1) on his nose  , he sounds like a right prick, if you know anyone with a big van, let him park there and when he wonders off pull the fooker out of the car park and leave it on double yellows, that'll teach him. :smash:

He sounds like a total nutjob. :xxx:

Just be careful if you confront him again though, nutters can be dangerous!

Ah our Chris can take care of himself.

If you want the guys car towed next time I know some people who can help "Loose" his car for ya ;)

Itll be difficult to do anything about it if you have'nt got a sign stating its private members only parking.

I would think best thing to do is put up a sign and next time he parks kindly point the sign out to him, if he takes no notice take a picture of his car and send it to the authorities and maybe they can so something, i doubt it but gotta be worth a try before getting into a fight with him.

there is a sign. 5 to be precise.

Well thats sorted then

Maybe look into how much a clamping service costs and then clamp it as soon as he parks there again. Or maybe look into your rights to have it towed away.

Just as long as you don't break the law, and then you 100% in the right if it ever went any further. ;)

yep. im gona be pretty pissed if he can park there though. But my lawyer says otherwise, which brings me back to tracing him by his number plate. If he is a copper I want the bugger reprimanded at the very least. I dont like people getting in my face and I certainly dont want that to happen when there are children about.

ring the police and give the number plate say you feel threatened and have been threatened on your own land and that you have had to go to your lawyer over the legalities of land rights. Tell them you feel this man is going to continually harass you and trespass on your land, explain that he became aggressive and you feared without the fence this man would become violent.

Also impersonating an officer is an offence so report him for that too

Its unusual for an off duty copper not to carry his warrant card around so he could flash it in your face to make you back off, I have had 2 or 3 run ins with them when I was working the door and they usually always produce it

the guy was talk crap obviously,

as markgixxer says very unusual not to be carrying his warrant card as they come in hndy even when not on duty, for thing like getting in places for free

Make up some clamping signs and put them up. I'm sure you kow the type of thing, those little tiny ones that you can't see.

You buy a clamp off ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-WHEEL-CLAMP-BOAT-CAR-TRAILER-CARAVAN-HORSEBOX-N84_W0QQitemZ290207430545QQihZ019QQcategoryZ76066QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

next time he parks there you are then in your right to clamp it and ask for a removal fee.

If he then destroys the clamp you have him for criminal damage.

Make sure you take lots of photos of signs clamp etc for evidence.

Failing that there are even companys that will do it for you.

Blimmey amazing what you can foind on google.

I am sure you can make his life a lot worse than he can make yours. After all, he is only parking in your car park, you can stop him using his car, so just chill out and get even.

Darrell

go to the farmer and ask if he has had permission to park on his land, if not then you are well within your right o tell him to fook off, after all, we rent a bedsit to someone, we have to knock and ask if we can come in, we cant (well not supposed to) go barging in without permission, also if you rent it from the farmer it is totally upto you to set the rules, you could even stop the farmer parking on there if you had a tennancy agrement, do you maintain the land or does the farmer, cause that also gives you more rights, for example if you had the council to come and clean the land for you, they will state they will do it free of charge but it can be used by anyone

most coppers aint that cocky, he would simply come back in work hours and do it again, then if you went up to the fence and blasted him, he would then actually be able to do something about it, he was probably a security gaurd or prison officer

either way he sounds like a tw4t
