February 18, 200817 yr Just bought some leatherette to do the bottom half of the door cards. What glue have you used to do yours? What prep work did you do on the tweed, did you just glue straight onto it? How is it a few months later? Cheers Ed
February 24, 200817 yr Had a bash today at one of the rear panels using leatherette,its certainly a job i aint good at...lol...going to attempt it in material instead as just cant get the leatherette to sit riight on the contours of the lower panel.

You will have a lot more success if the leatherette is warm. Don't know how cold it is over there at the moment but trying heating it with heat gun or a hairdryer. Tony
March 2, 200817 yr Had another attempt with the leatherette using a heat gun,it was a lot easier but downside is i think i stretched it just that bit tight so can see every lump and bump in the panels behind :( Sorry the pic aint great as was done on my phone.
