Who would like a Powertrix full rear end set up???

I want to know how many would be up for this.

It makes an unbelieveable difference to you car handling and gets rid of all but 4 dodgy bushes at the rear of the car (which lets face it are 10 plus year old) maybe even go for the collor buches to elininate that too. This stuff is nothing like the Dodgy Ebay rubbish.

TT rear end kit comes with Hicas Eliminator and fully ajustable camber and toe arms

NA kit has Full ajustable camber, toe and tie bars and both have new poly bushes

The finishing handling requirements are the Stillen Sway Bars that unlike any of the others come complete with all solid drop links and bushes.

and even http://www.powertrix.com/images/Bushings%20and%20Spacers/Subframespacers_thumb.jpg

Or better still

I've done all these things and more to my blue TT and the difference is amazing. I'm going to sort out my SWB's i'm really thinking of just the powertrix performance rearend kits and sway bars as a GB but thought it your really serious about your handling the other bits may interest you.

Want to know numbers so I can persuade Danny DTA to organise a GB

Im interested - let me know on money and more importantly how tough is this to fit? Just need a ramp and some technically minded friends? Or do we need specialist equipment?

mm i know. Cant decide if i want get rid of my hicas or not.. Im not even sure if it works lol... But i know its got brand new rear arms!

prices on these kits would be a bonus even if its just a rough figure!

Seconded. ;)

I need to get all of these...and the rear Lower arms to fix roll center...but not sure I will be in a situation to purchase yet, other parts more urgent....insterested in GB prices though...

Chaps - I've been in contact with Powertrix for some prices and should be in a position to give difinitive information by the end of business today or early tomorrow morning.

I'd be more than happy to arrange a GB for these items so stay tuned!

Dan

It would just make the car far more posertive and more predictable handle by about 400%. The stock springs and shocks would just stop your teeth hurting every time you cross a cats eye.

your not wrong there ,every time i go over a pothole or bump i expect a bit of trim to fall off ,or the glass to break its such a jolt ,its been made worse since i got the car raised higher too clear speed bumps,

Proberbley not ajusted the Damping.

When you look at the bolts that retain the damper rods pertruding into the engine bay check to see howmuch thread of the dampin rod is pertruding through the retaining bolt. More thread = harsher damping less thread = softer damping and can make the feel a lot more comfortable. The rear is exactly the same. If they are the Tien HR's then the top of the rod has 2 flat faces at the very top so you can put a spanner on to it. Then with a ring spanner just back off the retainning bolt to soften the damping. You need the car jacked up so the suspension leg you are ajusting is not compressed.

Count in full turns so you ajust all the same. + To get to the rears you'll have to remove the boot trim then the rear seat and rear door cards and finally the suspension tower trim.

would be intersted in rear arms to correct camber to stop tyre wear

i didnt think mine can be adjusted as they are at least 5 year ha,s that were fitted in japan, i had spoken to tein when i ordered up new rings and they said it was only hight adjustable , i have had a look under the bonnet and above the nut there is about 3 turns of thread showing

What spring rates did you get. I always thought it was 12kg front and 9 rear, but was way out its more like 9 or 8kg front and 6kg rear so maybe you got too strong a spring.

I'd best check that because I may have it wrong again.

i dont know what the spring rate are i only changed the retainig rings as they crumbled away when we tried to adjust the hieght i did speak to tein about different springs but they recon that the softer springs with those dampers ,the springs may meet together or something like that

I want to give this thread another bump, there really is a MASSIVE saving to be had :D Come on guys surely there are more of you who would like this incredible set-up. :D

i wish this had of popped up before i bought all my rear bits :( I may have even considered going for it if it wearnt for my engine.

Such a good deal here. Your mad not to.

Oooh I'd missed this!

I've got everything there apart from the rear suspension kit.

I already have a HICAS eliminator but could always sell it on if I can't buy without.
