WTF is it with them being fashionable? I have had a pair since 1996 and bought them in Australia. They are slippers, not outdoor wear! :headvswal

I had a pair in 1989 from the original company in Newquay, literally about 300 yards from my old house, who made them as apres-surf wear. The originals were designed as shoes, not slippers. My pair lasted for 4 years of almost daily wear and were the comfiest shoes I've ever had. I just wish I could still get them at 'local' prices.

But, yeah, unless you can actually surf they are quite chavvy.

its best when lasses wear them with tracksuit bottoms lol

I may well have done  but I never purchased them as a fashion accessory. I bought them to keep my feet warm at home as slippers.

I'd rather she wore other types of boots, but I can't influence her that much!

Any kind is a bonus...I quite like them as 'bedroom wear' too! (on the mrs before you all take the pi55!) They go really well with nothing...Well the slippers type do anyway!!

They are like a plague :headvswal

I was at Andover train station yesterday and every other female was wearing Ugg boots (or copies) they look ridiculous. I felt like approaching some of them and telling them that they are in fact slippers!
