Castle Combe Spring Action Day

Saturday 19th April 2008

 

If its road legal, has four wheels and an engine chances are it will be eligible for our Performance Car Action Day.

 

Displays from some of the largest performance clubs, stands with lots of tuning parts and accessories and you have the reason why this day is so popular. Look out for trophies for the best car and best club stand of the show.

 

Open to anyone with a suitable car and current driving licence.

Your car will be on display at the 300zx.co.uk Club stand and 15min Track time sessions are available on the 1.85 mile Race track.

 

You do not have to put your car on the Track if you do not wish to.

 

Exact prices tba - But around £20 per track session and £7 entry per person.

Agree with Lisa......we had a super day out and combined it with an hour or so at a local pub which ALL good meets must include.

The rain didn't dampen our enthusiasm or enjoyment. Now looking forward to May's Castle Combe meet.

If you mean me Lisa, yes I did take 7 short videos on my digital still camera but they're pretty crap.

I've never put anything on youtube before, let alone linking anything to this site, but I'll give it a try now. Goodness knows how long it will take me:D

 

The quality's crap so you'll have to identify yourselves, I can make out yourself, Red Zed and MadMarco on a couple of them, but you have to be quick.

I was there, just a little incognito, was a fun day!!

Yep - I know I was a very naughty boy going out with a 'hand-held', so keep it under your hat ;) I've had a look at the footage and it's not the best - What with all that bouncing around and stuff (I'll have to get myself fitted with a 'steady-cam-arm'!), but I like it!

Total fuel cost was £110..thats 280mile and 4 track sessions so not too bad, paid £50 entry including 2 track, with 2 more track sessions free, crafty wow300,lol:bow: so £160 between 2 of us for a fab day out, looking forward to Japfest now, hope the weather kinder to us next time...sun shining down here today, bloody typical!

Had a cracking day, cant wait to see some track footage. Lots and lots of fun. I got some pics of us parked on club stand that I will post later but I was too busy holding on when in the car LOL

 

Paul's vert had lots of problems but hel did some respectable laps in it, but our 2nd session in the Supra was ballistic even lapped many vehicles. :cool: It now needs new rear shocks, pads and tyres though :rofl: :x:

 

Was disappointing that we never got the Club banners when everyone else had theirs. :(
