It's near derby just off swarkston bridge at a place called stenson as far as i remember. It's only 4-5 miles down the road from me.

Whats caused it dave? If you need a cheap rad to get you by I have one sitting about you can have for next to nothing.

 

Chris - I have bought a new number plate for the Z so I need to go to notts to change it over and Tax it. Might do it one morning next week, but I was gonna leave it until March as I'm off to the Canaries at the end of Feb so the Z isnt going to get used much anyway.

thanks for the kind offer Ed but the rad's fine - brand new Koyo with silicon sleeves and s/steel pipes! was full when i left. when i was forced to pull over (steam from bonnet not a good sign!) water was dripping from above and just behind the lower rad pipe (when viewed from the under the front). im sure ive got a dodgy ptu connection though - i've got a series 2 upgrade, but the s1 connection to the adapter has never been good. on this particular instance it started running on 3 / 4 cylinders, wonder if that put some extra load on the engine and blown something out the side of the engine or something.

got it recovered back to my house (respect to Arthur Jones recoverers :bow: ) 4 hours later. started her up from cold to back her into the driveway and she sounded ok - no knocks/clicks/bangs/oil on floor/etc.

has anyone got the address for bubble, so i can see how far it is from mine,if not to far might be able to come. thanks guys

Hi all, hope everyone is ok and has survived Christmas and the New Year.

 

Thanks Nick, for organising this for the Midland guys, I should have put up a thread, but I have been fighting this damn Chronic Kidney Disease and the medication that goes with it, it is all I can do somedays to go to work, get home and then I'm exhausted. Not much of an excuse for neglecting my duties as Midland REO.

 

Sorry, but I won't be at this one, the Zed is off the road, and also, all being well and I'm ok, will be visiting Jay.

So its the bubble then is it. Are we going to start a list so when have an idea of how many will be turning up on the day.

What time will everyone be meeting up as i am at work on sunday and do not finish until 2pm and would like to come after work this will be our first meet of the year and my last as the car will be off the road for the rest of the year so would realy like to come. :(
