How safe....

Hi, just a quick one, how safe are PM's?? Just sorting this groupbuy on spoilers and wanted to know if safe to put my bank details in a PM...Thanks

    Probably OK, but it's not really 'secure'. I don't think that a forum admin can read someone elses' PM's but if they tried really hard it must be possible. However, those details are also on every cheque you write, but there again, ask Jeremy Clarkson about publishing bank details !

    At the end of the day they are just bank details, which are relatively safe to give out. Somebody cant get money out of your account with them.

     

    You see Bank details posted everywhere, quite often companies post them on there websites.
