how do 300 lovers.

i said a short while ago about replaceing my air filter as i think mine sits to close to my nose as its quit a big cone,and its getting clod up with dirt,so im looking for a smaller but just afective filter any tips on the best to get and whom to get it off.

same here. apexi, its quite a small filter in comparision to the massive air box that was in mine standard. Sounds better. Got it from dan at DTA. Only bout £70 and that included next day delievery

Your K+N filter is fully washable. Just clean it and re oil it. It will outlast the car. and IMO is one of the best quality filters available. If you are getting dirt/crap splashed up on to it its probably cos the splashshield under it is missing. Nothing to do with the filter.

If you are thinking of chaning the air filtre, then Apexi is the way to go. It's the smallest but also one of the best for the 300zx.

 

As Pete says above, whether you change it or not, get yourself a plastic engine guard or at least the one that sits below the air intake.
