Hi folks,

I've just had a wee service on my car and found out that my air filter was clogged badly and my air flow sensor connections were corroding. This is a K & N system, so i need to replace the air filter as it's beyond repair and to replace the sensor. I've been using more fuel than is normal and been told this could be the reason for it.

Where is the best place to get a new filter and air sensor.

the Air flow sensor/MAF is going to cost you over £500 new Im afraid, but they are available 2nd hand for around £100, put up a wanted thread.

 

Connection corrosion is very common and can usually just be cleaned up.

I would defo reccomend dan at DTA. New apexi kit delievered next day for about £70
