What would you have done..?

To cut a very very long story short, a mate of mine dusted off to cornwall

about 5yrs ago, (when his daughter whom he'd never seen/spoke to), started going out in the local town, anyways, circa 5 yrs later, she starts

working behind the bar in what was his local (my local), as village gossip would have it, people soon realised who she was (freds daughter!), anyways, to cut to the chase, his folks/sisters& brothers always come out

on new years eve (you're guessing where this is going now aren't you!),

yep, she was behind the bar! (his entire family had never seen her either!).

Got chatting to one of freds sister's 'who's the bird behind the bar staring at me' she says, 'been staring at me all night', 'i'm gonna go and punch her lights

out in a minute', after about 20 mins of this from the entire family, i take

freds mum & one of his sisters outside, and drop the bombshell!!

As far as i'm concerned, it's about time they knew, tbh, they wern't too surprised, almost as if they kinda knew anyway, just needed someone 'local'

to confirm it for them.

I went home after that.... :)
