hey guys / Girls

My stock temp gauge was being erratic..i.e up and down although water level was perfect and water pump etc was changed about 6 months ago..now i know the stock gauge is rubbish plus after a short pause is started working perfectly again. However , during the pause I thought i´d give both temp sensors a little wiggle to check the connections, as I did the secondary ( electric)fan came on and has been on permanently since , anyone got any ideas there?

cheers

Maz

i think the fan comes on if the sensor is disconnected.

Check your ecu for errors

and get an aftermarket gauge!

ah, right..it comes on when the sensor is disconnected ...cheers for that edk83...aftermarket temp gauge is ordered and on it´s way, it should arrive anyday.

As for checking ECU codes, I´ve read about you guys all doing that m but looks complicated to me and i´ll probably end up short circuiting the thing and doing more damage than good. great confidence in myself there ey :)
