on handbrake and light pattern been told that rear hand brake shoes are

Rear shoes are Nissan Only.

Adjusters are probably broken on the headlights..Ie they turn but nothing adjusts!!!

Replacements from Nissan for the small ones which break, but if the toothed wheel on the headlamp body itself is split too then you might need to use the "Airfix kit" solution.

Doubt if the shoes are worn, more like adjustment at the leaver. I had the same last time around.

Allan you were right adjusted up now got a good handbrake

And found JEFF TT s guide on headlight dismantle :duffer: all good now lights 60% better than before even with the jap bulbs in going to do the upgrade soon

For Handbrake shoes call autojap 02476 474848 they have gen nissan ones in stock and will do you a set for less than half of what nissan is charging, which last time i checked was well over a hundred quid!

Tell them I sent you and they will look after you!

Note to mods, I dont work for autojap anymore so ive nothing to gain from this, just saving a member a few quid!

Cheers for that

If your car failed on light pattern that isnt the same as a adjustment.you may have moisture on the inside of the lense or the bulb isnt sat in the holder correctly.worth checking.

And handbrake shoes almost cant wear out as they only get used on a stopped car normally. They prolly just need to be adjusted.
