Normally £115, is reduced to £100. With a code on the website it goes down to £75 and there is 12% quidco too!

A couple of mates at work have gone for this, and the mrs is getting it me for xmas!

4 laps in a £130k Lambo and 2 more with an instructor driving.

Should be a good day out! Not mega cheap but its not like I will ever afford one of these!

Anyone else interested?

What they don't tell you is you can't drive at speed or accelerate fast.

They have someone next to you when you do your laps and they go ape sh1t if you try to give it any power.

yesssssssssssss

Andy add it to the list

lol

have to agree on that i know someone that did the ferarri day at silverstone and had the same problems, the idea is to explore the cars performance, might aswell just be on the M1 in your Zed i guess where you can feel the power!!

I drove a Gallardo a couple of years ago at The Everyman Driving Centre at Prestwold Hall, i did'nt have any problems exploring the power, in fact we were encouraged to go fast and use full throttle, we were told that as long as you're sensible and use the braking markers trackside you'll be fine, and to be honest there is'nt much the instructor can do except hold on and give you a b******ing afterwards, because that handbrake wont stop 500bhp.

That Everyman one is in the Tesco clubcard deals book. And you get £40 towards it for every £10 of points you've got :)

Much better to have friends/customers who own these cars. I have been asked to drive a customer's Gallardo SE to a few meets this past year (while he drives his Murcielago or Enzo). Next year he's taking delivery of a new LP640 Roadster - I'm keeping my fingers crossed to be allowed to drive that! Funny thing is that he won't let his wife touch any of his cars but will happily let me follow him down country lanes scaring ramblers and wildlife! :) And before anyone says he's a greedy sod, he's worked extremely hard for his money and although he is very "well off" he is also one of the most generous people I know.

Alternatively, check out 6th Gear Experience (http://www.6thgearexperience.com). It is run by two friends of mine (and fellow Lamborghini Club UK members) Simon George (of EVO fastfleet fame) and Andy Cummings. For those of you who follow Simon's escapades with his new white LP640 - you can run their Gallardo, Murcielago and LP640 on a per-lap basis (I think it's about £50/lap) or book in for their "experience" packages. They also have Ferrari's and Aston Martin's in their lineup.

I had a crack at both the Murcielago and Gallardo back in September at Bruntingthorpe. Booked via http://www.driversdreamdays.co.uk/. Gotta say it was a real pain in the ar!e trying to get through to them at the time to book the date (apparently they have since sorted their phone/email problems), but when I did actually get to do the whole day, it was fantastic! Wasn't impressed with the Murciealgo (apart from it's gorgeous looks), but the Gallardo was a good car to drive. Wasn't impressed with 500+ bhp either, but the instructors (especially the Gallardo one - who was a bit of a nutter!) did encourage me to put my foot to the floor. 3 laps was just not anywhere enough for me, though................
