Hello chaps,

 

been doing an inpection on my z while i'm waiting for parts to be delivered and noticed there is no harness connected to the rear windcreen for demisting. This is probably why it doesnt work lol. and i have no radio coz the guy before me didnt wire it up when he put the head unit in.

 

i have 2 questions.

 

there are four electrical connectors on the windcreen nothing is connected to them.

 

1. where is the harness usually located so i can get my rear window to demist and which connectors are they?

 

2. if there are 4 connectors does this mean that there is and ariel incorporated into the rear window, if it is i would like toi connect this up as well.

 

if anyone can help i would be greatfull and a description of the connectors would help.

 

ie from looking from the back with the boot open 1st connector meaning closest to me, left or right, heater/ariel, +ve -ve?

 

hope this makes sense.

forgot to say i think my fuel filter may have been put on the wrong way round?

 

is there any pics and what orientation it should be?

i'm never free i always charge :D erm where abouts are you cos its not at my house its in my sister in laws garage if you are going to the japnortheast meet or the xmas dinner with us lot on here i'll take some pics and ya can have a look, are you sure the wires aint there cos if not it's had a boot lid at some point and they aint bothered puttin them back.

no definitely not there, guy i bought it off he didnt bother putting em back on coz it was tinted and he couldnt see out anyway, hes been a bit slack on the boot which i will have to sort out.

forgot to say i'm in south shields so not far bout 20 mins away. i'm not suggesting come and see now btw just whenever you have some spare time.
