There are 1000's of troops stationed in Iraq and afganisan, I know your all forking out for xmas and every bugger is after you money for donations for this and that. But please give our lads a thought, their miles from home, putting thier lives on the line, which is more than can be said for a lot of people. Send them a box and let tehm know we are thinking of them. I know I appreciated these things when they came through.

I#m sure a lot of people have looked at the link you have posted and will make a donation etc.

 

I wouldn't be too worried about the lack of posting on here as there isn't really much to say about it.

I'll be supporting the lads. This country with it's PC and chav culture don't ralise what a fantastic job our lads do in the worst conditions, without question and prepared to pay the ultimate price without condition.

 

Whether you agree or disagree with the why's and warefores of the war. The Lads are just doing what our ellected government have ask them to do on behalf of our people.

Some agree most don't, but they serv and we should show them they are valued.

My boy has done 2 tours of Iraq so far and is of to afganistan in January.

 

Thing is don't just send them a box. Put something in it.

 

You can even send them letters online these days so you don't have to go anywhere. It is really easy. Just look up e-bluey and go from there.

 

Heres wishing for a swift end and a peacful christmas.

I cant echo what mark and cooper said enough. for the boys out there its a tough time normaly, but over xmas its horrid.
