Does anyone know why I have the constant yellew saddie (smilie)

I have tried checking the BT HomeHub firewall, windows firewall and kaspersky firewall and all other things but still get the yellow saddie. Download speeds (I have seen) never exceed 20kbps and I get the error 'You mat have a NAT problem if the torrent stays yellow all the time'

Anyone out there help ?

Check that Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) is

- enabled on the router

- enabled in Azureus config - Tools > Plugins > UPnP

That fixed it for me. Hope that helps.

setting upnp didnt work for me with my router (belkin router/ virgin), I had to set up a static ip and port forwarding manually, there is a wiki page that tells you how to do it iirc

go into anti hacker settings and do the following:

start azureus

click the red "K" in your bottom right of the screen near the clock.

click the settings green tick top right of the kaspersky window

click the settings tab next to the slider.

the rules window will pop up

click the add button, goto applications, scroll down to the azureus application and click it

new window edit rules for azureus will open. goto preset, allow all.

click ok, close screen, click ok again close screen then click apply or it wont take the setting

close kaspersky main window down.

in azureus goto, tools, nat/firewall test and in the incoming listen port enter this port number 65534 if it isnt already there.

then click the test button.

you need to make sure that kaspersky is set up to allow your azureus in and out protocols through kasperskys firewall. that should be it really.

every app you run that needs in and out protocols online you need to set up its traffic rules in kaspersky, if you change the firewall to learning every time you run an app it will prompt you to allow or not, but its a pain that way.

sorry you need to start azureus first the go into anti hacker settings in kaspersky. not azureus.

to forward a port on bt home hub go to yer rouer manager and then go int it will ask for a pass when you go to advanced that pass is standard admin admin till yo change it manually hit advanced then continue to advanced then do yer pass thing then go to application sharing look for abc or another bittorrent client device yer pc name and hit add then go to modify game or application then hit the thing you got in the list or go for making yer own as you see look at the bottom you will see any: port from and too put the port in there you want to assign ie 411

gahh hit wrong button then put 411 in all boxes then hit add leave em on any the boxes

then reboot ya pc and you should then get a green light on yer torrent

he will still need to edit the rules for port access in kaspersky, you have to do this for all apps unless they are part of the presets library built into kaspersky.

I'm still getting this :-

Testing port 65534 ...

NAT Error - Connect attempt to 81.***.*.**:65534 (your computer) timed out after 20 seconds. This means your port is probably closed.

And (I think) Azureus is allowed in kaspersky

I'm still unsure on what to do exactly
