Hi, This workshop is in Strood Kent just behind Tesco's, spoke to a guy think his name was Gareth, said he had been working on zed's for 15 years,asked him to price up a cam belt change said it would be £250, is that about right? when I spoke about this club he said that he preferred the Zclub, so is he known on here and is he ok to use.

The price is relevant to what's included. Is that just labour or does it include belt and idler pulleys. I think you need to clarify what the price includes. As to whether he is known, his real name probably does not reflect his user name on either club.

D2 are fine to use mate i know them very well darren is the main guy that works on zeds he is pukka done lots of work for me on my zed infact its up there now had some serious electrical faults which he has rectefied and is sorting out a leaky egr for me i never had no probs at all with these guys very competant knowledgeable about zeds and resonably priced to

Hi Jim, it's good to know that, I've had my car since April and thought I was going to have to travel miles to get it serviced.

As old_zed says find out whats included for the cambelt change.

 

At a minimum you want :

 

Cambelt

Rubber water pipes

Auxillery belts

Water pump

Thermostat

 

other options include :

 

Crank seals

Cam seals

Tensioner

Idler pulleys

i can definitely recommend D2, they came recommended to me through Topless

I will try and get more details on what you get for your money and post my findings here.

Thats where i take my Z, Darren is a top bloke and knows he's stuff and has helped me out many times. In fact its going there on the 3rd for a bit of work.
